FAQ
At this time, Dion’s offers delivery through DoorDash at our Colorado, Las Cruces, Lubbock, Los Lunas, Santa Fe, Roswell, Clovis, and El Paso locations. Delivery orders must be placed through online ordering or the Dion’s app. Price, products and delivery radius may vary by location. For now, we have no plans to expand delivery. Catering delivery is available for orders over $200 with 24-hour notice and applicable service charge.
We’re aware that many of our loyal fans (and even employees) eat gluten-free. Here is a list of menu ideas for customers eating a gluten-free diet. With advance notice, a manager can do his or her best to prepare a station to avoid cross-contact with gluten-having ingredients. Bon appétit, sans gluten!
Someday, we promise! We’re working our hardest to bring delicious Dion’s food to as many communities as possible. Our ultimate goal is World Pizza Domination by year 3000, so if all goes as planned, there will be a Dion’s in your neighborhood sometime within the next millennium. When the time comes for your town, we’ll be sure to shout it from the rooftops (and from our social media pages).
That’s not a question, but thank you!
Perhaps. But first we’re waiting for Mr. Sanders to release the names of those eleven herbs and spices. Then we can negotiate.

Nope! We think our pizza is the best in the world, so we’re smart enough not to mess with a good thing. In fact, the dough recipe has stayed the same for at least 25 years.
Like a home cooked meal from mom, your pizza might taste a little different each time it’s made. We shred our own cheese, make our own sauce daily, and our dough is never frozen, so each pizza is genuinely a one-of-a-kind creation. If for whatever reason you receive a pizza (or a salad, sub or anything else) that is not up to your expectations, please do not hesitate to speak to a manager.
Dion’s was named after none other than Dionysus, the Greek god of wine and rockin’ parties. Our founders, Bill and Jon, initially thought their company was going to be a swinging Greek restaurant, not a pizzeria. Serving pizza was supposed to be just a temporary fill-in while they waited for their gyro machines to arrive. (No joke!)
As to why “Dionysus” was shortened to “Dion’s,” well, that’s a funny story.

Maybe your eyes were bigger than your stomach. Maybe you intentionally ordered a little extra for tomorrow’s lunch. Maybe you just like pizza better the second time around. Whatever the reason, you have leftovers. Don’t worry; reheating is as easy as pie. Pizza pie, that is.
When you’re ready to indulge, pre-heat your oven to 375° and place the slices on a cookie sheet about an inch apart to ensure even heat. After five to seven minutes the cheese should start to melt down the sides. Trust your eyes and nose, and when the pizza looks to be just the right amount of delicious, carefully remove it from the oven and let it cool a bit. Enjoy! And, of course, don’t forget the Dion’s Ranch for dipping.
Many of our products can be recycled including, but not limited to our paper plates, napkins, plastic salad bowls and fruit cups. Unfortunately, these products have to be free of food debris and grease to be sent to recycling facilities, which have strict standards. At this point in time, it is not feasible for us to store and wash these pieces in our restaurants.
